But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stamen Tekeliev couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Gheară in the 4th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wawrzyniec Charamut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stamen Tekeliev in the 6th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Stamen Tekeliev dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wawrzyniec Charamut, 1-0. Gavino Abarca charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavino Abarca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Playa Malvín booed when De Boedo Vengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Abarca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stamen Tekeliev took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wawrzyniec Charamut. Wawrzyniec Charamut dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some careless play in the De Boedo Vengo defense, Stamen Tekeliev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wawrzyniec Charamut. The De Boedo Vengo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wawrzyniec Charamut should have stopped the shot. Stamen Tekeliev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Gheară came free, but Zé Roberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stamen Tekeliev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wawrzyniec Charamut having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Playa Malvín's Wawrzyniec Charamut threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stamen Tekeliev, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When De Boedo Vengo's Norbert Chwalkiewicz in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Wawrzyniec Charamut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Zé Roberto Teixeira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Wawrzyniec Charamut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stamen Tekeliev, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. De Boedo Vengo's Wawrzyniec Charamut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamen Tekeliev in the 56th minute of play. Playa Malvín's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stelian Murgu in the 62nd minute. Constantijn De Hond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wawrzyniec Charamut having to interfere. Playa Malvín's Quinto Ampudia was substituted for Stamen Tekeliev. In the 70th minute Quinto Ampudia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Charamut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes De Boedo Vengo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stelian Murgu who took care of the corner kick. Wawrzyniec Charamut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinto Ampudia, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Playa Malvín's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
