Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Barnaba Pilsudski took the kick off in the first half of the match. Axell Verduin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martijn August, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Gullegem's Barnaba Pilsudski got a free kick in the 4th minute. Harvey Davies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Pilsudski in the 12th minute of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Barnaba Pilsudski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bal op het Dak's Harvey Davies was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Martijn August notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin. Axell Verduin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Mendes in the 16th minute of play. The throw-in from Cobus Harding in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Gullegem's Mats Vanooteghem. 27 minutes into the match, Artur Mendes notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin. Axell Verduin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Axell Verduin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Kjellman, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Axell Verduin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martijn August in the 34th minute of play. 39 minutes in the game Cobus Harding did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to John-Paul Locatelli. In the 41st minute John-Paul Locatelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axell Verduin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC Gullegem's Barnaba Pilsudski in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Bal op het Dak's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half FC Bal op het Dak were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

FC Bal op het Dak's Joop Bakker was substituted for Shaq Francis. Martijn August sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Axell Verduin made a huge save. Axell Verduin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn August in the 61st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martijn August got free with Axell Verduin in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Gullegem's Yanick De Ketelaere was substituted for Pierre-Paul Callaerts. FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Iwan Valentijn replaced Martijn August. In the 66th match minute, FC Gullegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Vanooteghem to maneuver through the defense. The FC Bal op het Dak fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when FC Bal op het Dak's Artur Mendes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Kjellman got free with Axell Verduin in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 79th play minutes Iwan Valentijn shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Axell Verduin and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Dan Kjellman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Axell Verduin. That made the score 0-5 in the 81 minute of play. With a little luck, FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin got control of the ball when Artur Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Iwan Valentijn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Axell Verduin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 92 minutes into the match, Iwan Valentijn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Axell Verduin. FC Gullegem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iwan Valentijn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Axell Verduin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Bal op het Dak walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
