In the 18th match minute, Twelve Ravens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matt Van Meirhaeghe to maneuver through the defense. FC Gullegem's Ion Giurgiu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Roland Vanden Broucke but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinard Hennes in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Gullegem's goalkeeper Axell Verduin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Pilsudski in the 34th minute of play forced Twelve Ravens's goalkeeper Roland Vanden Broucke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinard Hennes in the 37th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Reinard Hennes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reinard Hennes in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Axell Verduin saved FC Gullegem from getting behind. After 55 minutes FC Gullegem's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lennart De Coster who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Lennart De Coster got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Axell Verduin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Twelve Ravens's Reinard Hennes in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Gullegem's goalie prevented a goal. In the 59th minute Barnaba Pilsudski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Vanden Broucke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Gullegem's Pierre-Paul Callaerts got a free kick in the 60th minute. FC Gullegem made a substitution. Yanick De Ketelaere replaced Pierre-Paul Callaerts. Yanick De Ketelaere made in the 66th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Waut Du Molin however managed to control. Yanick De Ketelaere kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Twelve Ravens's Bjorn Van de Weijer was substituted for Reinard Hennes. After a rather tough play, FC Gullegem's Yanick De Ketelaere got a free kick in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Bjorn Van de Weijer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Axell Verduin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to FC Gullegem getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Mats Vanooteghem hit a great ball. Bjorn Van de Weijer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Axell Verduin having to make a save. Osvald Lindberg kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Yanick De Ketelaere made in the 87th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Waut Du Molin. In the 92nd minute Ion Giurgiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Vanden Broucke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axell Verduin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bjorn Van de Weijer in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Pierre Van Hinnendael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Twelve Ravens were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over FC Gullegem's much stronger midfield.
