In the 3rd minute Yuri Portugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fauna Utd's zone, Jedrzej Kiszkiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radamel Hendrickx came out of the goal and Jedrzej Kiszkiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of FC Ouagadougou National booed when Fauna Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Portugal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Hamza Yavaş came free, but Radamel Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jedrzej Kiszkiel in the 14th minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 15 in the game by Dani Rojas from a close distance when the talented Radamel Hendrickx managed to make a qualified save. Fauna Utd's players were relieved. 15 minutes into the game, Dani Rojas lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Radamel Hendrickx. Rene Vereijt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Portugal in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Jedrzej Kiszkiel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Radamel Hendrickx. Jedrzej Kiszkiel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Radamel Hendrickx made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jedrzej Kiszkiel in the 23rd minute. Dani Rojas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Radamel Hendrickx firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, FC Ouagadougou National's Baba R. Hansen got a free kick in the 30th minute. Rene Vereijt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pieterjan Anteunis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karel Cromefeldt in the 37th minute of play forced FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Rene Vereijt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Pieterjan Anteunis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fauna Utd's Lorenzo Garaona was substituted for Teodoro Esquipula. After 45 minutes Fauna Utd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dani Rojas who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Abdulla Baia managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When FC Ouagadougou National's Abdulla Baia in 45 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Radamel Hendrickx guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Hamza Yavaş in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Radamel Hendrickx, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Yuri Portugal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Vereijt having to make a save. Radamel Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamza Yavaş in the 57th minute of play. FC Ouagadougou National's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dani Rojas in the 58th minute. A collision led to FC Ouagadougou National getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Nazmi Tanberk hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pieterjan Anteunis during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pieterjan Anteunis kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. If 苏军扬 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuri Portugal hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Radamel Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jedrzej Kiszkiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulla Baia in the 75th minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdulla Baia in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radamel Hendrickx saved Fauna Utd from getting behind. Rene Vereijt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yuri Portugal's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Fauna Utd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 苏军扬 in the 78th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Ouagadougou National's goalie and right to Pieterjan Anteunis. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Ouagadougou National's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Fauna Utd's Radamel Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulla Baia in the 80th minute of play. Radamel Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulla Baia, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdulla Baia in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radamel Hendrickx saved Fauna Utd from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Karim Sia made a precise shot to the right of Radamel Hendrickx. Fauna Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Fauna Utd's Yuri Portugal got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulla Baia came free, but Radamel Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Vereijt was a little too slow when Karel Cromefeldt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 3-1. Radamel Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jedrzej Kiszkiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's Yuri Portugal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rene Vereijt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Ouagadougou National's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
