Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Axell Verduin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Axell Verduin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tran Vrolijcx, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Cornea in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Gullegem's Mats Vanooteghem got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute Ad Fundum were awarded a corner. Manfred Bruse went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ad Fundum's corner Manfred Bruse fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Axell Verduin quite easily take care of the ball. Ad Fundum's Kamiel Ingelborgh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Pilsudski in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin got control of the ball when Tomás Baldaia tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save FC Gullegem from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, Ad Fundum's Aurel Cornea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Axell Verduin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Tran Vrolijcx came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Ad Fundum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tran Vrolijcx couldn't finish the play. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
