But to his dismay, Abdulla Baia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pierre-Paul Van Dijck got a throw-in 9 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alexandre Van Beneden. Kamiel Ingelborgh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dani Rojas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ad Fundum's Kamiel Ingelborgh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulla Baia in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulla Baia in the 20th minute of play forced Ad Fundum's goalkeeper Kamiel Ingelborgh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tran Vrolijcx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Vereijt having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Tomás Baldaia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ad Fundum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ouagadougou National the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ad Fundum's Tomás Baldaia got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Ad Fundum's Kamiel Ingelborgh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulla Baia in the 24th minute of play. Rene Vereijt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tran Vrolijcx, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Ad Fundum's Tomás Baldaia, in the 32nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ad Fundum. Ad Fundum's Kamiel Ingelborgh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulla Baia in the 36th minute of play. FC Ouagadougou National's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dani Rojas in the 39th minute. FC Ouagadougou National's George Descamps was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kamiel Ingelborgh in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Abdulla Baia put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Kamiel Ingelborgh. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tran Vrolijcx to strike the kick off in the second half. Kamiel Ingelborgh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dani Rojas went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute Tomás Baldaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute of the match Ad Fundum got a corner. FC Ouagadougou National's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manfred Bruse ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ad Fundum's Kamiel Ingelborgh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dani Rojas in the 69th minute of play. Christiaan Van Clijnenbreugel kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. FC Ouagadougou National's Juan Santi was substituted for Abdulla Baia. After 73 played minutes Ad Fundum got a freekick which was hit by Christiaan Van Clijnenbreugel. In the 78th minute Juan Santi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamiel Ingelborgh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kamiel Ingelborgh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Santi in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Santi in the 82nd minute of play forced Ad Fundum's goalkeeper Kamiel Ingelborgh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Vereijt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Cornea in the 84th minute of play. A hard shot 91 in the game by Dani Rojas from a close distance when the talented Kamiel Ingelborgh managed to make a qualified save. Ad Fundum's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dani Rojas got free with Kamiel Ingelborgh in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Ad Fundum fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Ouagadougou National were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
