The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Birlergencligi getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Ahmet Orhan Ekşioğlu hit a great ball. Simen Brekken hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Metehan Tekiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Nystrøm having to interfere. Rıdvan Candar might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julius Nystrøm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rıdvan Candar ran back to his position shaking his head. Rıdvan Candar kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Simen Brekken kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Egeland got free with Gaffar Erşahin in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teoman Okboğa hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Erik Bredesen's shot from long distance in the 20th minute was not bad at all, but Birlergencligi's Gaffar Erşahin knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 21st minute Metehan Tekiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Nystrøm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julius Nystrøm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Metehan Tekiner went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 30th play minutes Metehan Tekiner shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Julius Nystrøm and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metehan Tekiner in the 39th minute of play forced Halsne FF's goalkeeper Julius Nystrøm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 44th minute of the game was made by Carl Hope with Karsten Bergland as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Metehan Tekiner was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Halsne FF's Simen Brekken got a free kick in the 54th minute. Gaffar Erşahin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Strande in the 57th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play, Halsne FF's Simen Brekken made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaffar Erşahin was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Rıdvan Candar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Strande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Gaffar Erşahin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karsten Bergland struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Gaffar Erşahin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halsne FF. Julius Nystrøm acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Aysan Köken. Metehan Tekiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Julius Nystrøm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Julius Nystrøm managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Birlergencligi's Metehan Tekiner fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 93rd match minute, Birlergencligi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berkin Binışık to maneuver through the defense. Birlergencligi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
