The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaroslaw Rode got free with Gaffar Erşahin in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofil Walaszkiewicz in the 9th minute of play forced Birlergencligi's goalkeeper Gaffar Erşahin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Metehan Tekiner in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Milosz Pachucki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Birlergencligi's Gaffar Erşahin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgierd Trela in the 13th minute of play. If Jaroslaw Rode had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olgierd Trela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rıdvan Candar struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Milosz Pachucki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Birlergencligi. Milosz Pachucki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metehan Tekiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. A hard shot 28 in the game by Jaroslaw Rode from a close distance when the talented Gaffar Erşahin managed to make a qualified save. Birlergencligi's players were relieved. In the 31st minute, Artur Lampe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 32 minutes, Metehan Tekiner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birlergencligi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Metehan Tekiner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Milosz Pachucki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Metehan Tekiner's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute, Artur Lampe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Artur Lampe was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 40 minutes had been played. Birlergencligi's Metehan Tekiner got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Şehzade Ongut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Birlergencligi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verva FC the free kick. Şehzade Ongut kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Metehan Tekiner made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Birlergencligi getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Teoman Okboğa hit a great ball. Milosz Pachucki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Metehan Tekiner in the 64th minute of the match. Gaffar Erşahin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslaw Rode in the 66th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Metehan Tekiner kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Milosz Pachucki. That made the score 0-1 in the 68 minute of play. Rahman Tekinalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metehan Tekiner in the 83rd minute of play forced Verva FC's goalkeeper Milosz Pachucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Verva FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Birlergencligi a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Şehzade Ongut, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Verva FC's Milosz Pachucki. 0-2. 90 minutes into the match, Verva FC's Jaroslaw Rode sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaffar Erşahin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Jaroslaw Rode shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaffar Erşahin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Birlergencligi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Birlergencligi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
