Rovine Craiova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Plopșor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Bogdan Gurgui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Vergulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 34th play minute Virgil Vergulescu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bogdan Gurgui. 2-1. Rovine Craiova's Cezar Ghinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Plopșor in the 40th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Ionică Istodor. 44 minutes into the match, Valentin Plopșor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cezar Ghinescu. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Plopșor made a kick off. The supporters of F.C.BARLAD booed when Rovine Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Munteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Plopșor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Cezar Ghinescu made a huge save.
