Bass Dost took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gino Tonić. Gino Tonić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gino Tonić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard Hefter's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Bass Dost's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gino Tonić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Red Bull Magnus's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Vandamme came free, but Cláudio Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cláudio Bittencourt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charlie Vandamme went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Gino Tonić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bass Dost's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. If Richard Hefter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cláudio Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Neeskens in the 34th minute of play. A hard shot 36 in the game by Bass Dost from a close distance when the talented Gino Tonić managed to make a qualified save. New Miran FC's players were relieved. Gino Tonić stood somewhat misplaced when Bass Dost came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 36 minute. Red Bull Magnus's Paulo Renato Trigo was substituted for Gerson Cruzado. Gino Tonić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bass Dost in the 42nd minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bass Dost to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Luís Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Red Bull Magnus's Luisão Negri was substituted for Bass Dost. Red Bull Magnus's Cláudio Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Vandamme in the 69th minute of play.
