Anacleto Sanchez was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Mauro Joachim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Mateo in the 13th minute of play. After 14 played minutes AFC CERBEROS got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Saturnin. When AFC CERBEROS's Anacleto Sanchez in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villa Mitre's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Anacleto Sanchez took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Virgilio Sotil to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Villa Mitre booed when AFC CERBEROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, AFC CERBEROS's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Admon came free, but Mauro Joachim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Anacleto Sanchez sped through Villa Mitre's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Virgilio Sotil. Anacleto Sanchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Sotil having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, AFC CERBEROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Hanot to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Jerano. If Isaac Hanot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Hanot in the 64th minute of play forced Villa Mitre's goalkeeper Virgilio Sotil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Villa Mitre getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Benê Gonçalves hit a great ball. The supporters of Villa Mitre booed when AFC CERBEROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Azibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd match minute, AFC CERBEROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Hanot to maneuver through the defense. Benê Gonçalves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mauro Joachim. AFC CERBEROS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Paulo Admon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Mitre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Admon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, AFC CERBEROS's Anacleto Sanchez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgilio Sotil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Isaac Hanot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgilio Sotil was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Ramiro Jerano kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. AFC CERBEROS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
