Vladimiro Mingo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Peruxu having to interfere. With a little luck, Pegaso FC's Alejo Arce got control of the ball when Abelardo Lawrence tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of El retorno del Pincha booed when Pegaso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Colon didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Lawrence in the 8th minute of play forced Pegaso FC's goalkeeper Alejo Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Alejo Arce successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alejo Arce was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Saturnino Michael capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Saturnino Michael really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Pegaso FC's Alejo Arce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Pegaso FC from getting a goal against them. After 22 minutes, Saturnino Michael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El retorno del Pincha and the Pegaso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Saturnino Michael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Lawrence in the 25th minute of play forced Pegaso FC's goalkeeper Alejo Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelmiro Peruxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Mingo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Pegaso FC's Alejo Arce got control of the ball when Abelardo Lawrence tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Pegaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Colon to maneuver through the defense. After 38 played minutes El retorno del Pincha got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Michael. Feliberto Rameriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ildefonso Joanes kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Maximiliano Eguen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejo Arce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Alejo Arce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimeno Oriche went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Alejo Arce came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by El retorno del Pincha's Abelardo Lawrence. But to his dismay, Abelardo Lawrence quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Alejo Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Michael in the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pegaso FC's Federico Galtero got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Maximiliano Eguen charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Eguen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to El retorno del Pincha getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Maximiliano Eguen hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Saturnino Michael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Colon got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Pegaso FC's Rodrigo Colon got a free kick in the 71st minute. Federico Galtero charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Galtero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Pegaso FC got a freekick which was hit by Federico Galtero. In the 74thth minute of the game Abelardo Lawrence who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pegaso FC's Alejo Arce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Abelardo Lawrence left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El retorno del Pincha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 81 minutes into the match, Pegaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Oriche came free, but Alejo Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El retorno del Pincha's Saturnino Michael got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that El retorno del Pincha were the better team. El retorno del Pincha's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
