After having played for 8 minutes, Leon Goretzka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alzaga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Goretzka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berutti FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reynaldo Raebert in the 12th minute. Berutti FC's Niceto Aznaro got his second yellow card of the match in the 16th minute. The referee ordered Niceto Aznaro off the ground. In the 17th match minute, Berutti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Aznaro to maneuver through the defense. Leon Goretzka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edelmiro Cheche got free with Arcadio Buendia in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Leon Goretzka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Goretzka took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Macario. Bruno Macario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, Leon Goretzka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Macario. Berutti FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Goretzka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Bruno Macario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Goretzka in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Goretzka in the 38th minute of play forced Berutti FC's goalkeeper Bruno Macario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Mané Garrincha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Macario was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Leon Goretzka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Alzaga FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Leon Goretzka made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Berutti FC's Bruno Macario got control of the ball when Adrián Czornomaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Goretzka got free with Bruno Macario in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reynaldo Raebert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arcadio Buendia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Berutti FC were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Alzaga FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Reynaldo Raebert took the corner. In the 62nd minute Leon Goretzka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Macario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Leon Goretzka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alzaga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berutti FC the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Leon Goretzka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leon Goretzka hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 78th match minute, Berutti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Lobo to maneuver through the defense. Arcadio Buendia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Cheche in the 84th minute of the match. Sebastian Lobo got a throw-in 89 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aquilino Curcio. After 92 played minutes Berutti FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Dubardo. The audience was convinced that Robert Rutkowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Macario was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The Alzaga FC fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Alzaga FC's Robert Rutkowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alzaga FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
