The supporters of Luganeros AFC booed when Habsburgo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Orti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Vázquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Aznaro having to interfere. Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willian Pay in the 25th minute of play. Habsburgo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Domenico Di Nino in the 28th minute. A nice corner shot did that Domenico Di Nino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gabriel Porfiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Luganeros AFC defense, Willian Pay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Porfiro. The Luganeros AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Porfiro should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Joe Kimutai in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Habsburgo's Emanuel Hârșu. Willian Pay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Domenico Di Nino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Porfiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Vázquez in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Aznaro saved Habsburgo from getting behind. Honorato Aznaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Vázquez in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Habsburgo's goalkeeper Honorato Aznaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Luganeros AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Habsburgo were winning 0-1.

Luganeros AFC's Yu Quan Di was substituted for Ricardo Oinaz. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Willian Pay to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 86thth minute of the game Sebastian Froylan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Habsburgo's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Bittor came free, but Honorato Aznaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yu Quan Di in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Aznaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, Habsburgo's goal looked a bit too open when Rey Ronaldo came free, but Honorato Aznaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Rey Ronaldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Honorato Aznaro. Habsburgo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rey Ronaldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Yu Quan Di had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Habsburgo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
