Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) TORQUE F.C.'s Cristian Ieltxu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Ieltxu in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Barovero saved River CBBA from getting behind. In the 7th minute Varis Birgelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sébastien Frey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When River CBBA's Argoitz Abeijon in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TORQUE F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 14th minute Juan Funes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sébastien Frey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TORQUE F.C.'s Sébastien Frey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argoitz Abeijon in the 15th minute of play. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Laureano Beltza with Boğaçhan Akyel as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Sébastien Frey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Varis Birgelis in the 26th minute of play. Marcelo Barovero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Ieltxu in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute TORQUE F.C. were awarded a corner. Ermegildo Errolan went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Inocencio Lastur got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelo Barovero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 32 minutes River CBBA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ermegildo Errolan who took care of the corner kick. Cristian Ieltxu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Marcelo Barovero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 38th minute, Cristian Ieltxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Hector Enrique's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sébastien Frey was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Sébastien Frey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Enrique, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The TORQUE F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. River CBBA were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Funes was the one to do the kick off. Sébastien Frey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Varis Birgelis's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Sergio Batista could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Sébastien Frey however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Argoitz Abeijon got free with Sébastien Frey in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Funes in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sébastien Frey saved TORQUE F.C. from getting behind. Hector Enrique kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matías Almeida during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of TORQUE F.C. booed when River CBBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. TORQUE F.C. made a substitution. Saul Maties replaced Baltasar Atarratze. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Lastur in the 72nd minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. River CBBA made a substitution. Arano Abendano replaced Hector Enrique. TORQUE F.C.'s Dave Mancinelli was substituted for Igor Abancens. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Klawki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Estebano, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Ponciano Abarca notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of TORQUE F.C.'s Sébastien Frey. Sébastien Frey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Klawki in the 95th minute of play. The River CBBA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing River CBBA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
