Despite this Ovidiu Caranfil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nikiforos Fragis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Caranfil having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Saronida FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Club Vertigo side.
