The corner ended in Ermegildo Errolan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor did a great save. TORQUE F.C.'s Sébastien Frey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 13th minute of play. Abdoulay Doucouré kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The long shot by Ermegildo Errolan in the 17th minute really tested Camilo Salvidor's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Camilo Salvidor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Ieltxu's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After 26th play minutes Cristian Ieltxu shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Camilo Salvidor and just under the crossbar into goal. Menchu FC's Caetano Linhares managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ermegildo Errolan in the 29 minute of the game. Cristian Ieltxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Salvidor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The throw-in from Ermegildo Errolan in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Menchu FC's Armando Roland. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 36th minute of play forced TORQUE F.C.'s goalkeeper Sébastien Frey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sébastien Frey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Cristian Ieltxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriele Batistuta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gabriele Batistuta in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sébastien Frey, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 66th minute of the game Ermegildo Errolan made a throw-in which Cristian Ieltxu played forward. In the 73rd minute, Gabriele Batistuta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sébastien Frey was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Abdoulay Doucouré struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Sébastien Frey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menchu FC. Sébastien Frey made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Abdoulay Doucouré sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, TORQUE F.C.'s Sébastien Frey got control of the ball when Gaston Firmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sébastien Frey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Firmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Sébastien Frey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdoulay Doucouré, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Cristian Ieltxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Menchu FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because TORQUE F.C. had won, even though Menchu FC had held more of the ball.
