An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Funes in the 27th minute of play forced ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's goalkeeper 张常阳 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 张常阳 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Funes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Argoitz Abeijon hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Venancio Salvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Salvino in the 35th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Venancio Salvino might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Barovero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Venancio Salvino ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Salvino came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, River CBBA's 张常阳 threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ponciano Abarca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
