In the 3rd minute, Hüseyin Turan Çelenkoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidiu Caranfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 5th minute of the match. Gabriele Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Well-Well Benne in the 18th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Camilo Salvidor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 0-1 became the score in the 26th minute when Gabriele Batistuta elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Menchu FC's attentive Caetano Linhares managed to snatch the ball when Hüseyin Turan Çelenkoğlu made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. Gabriele Batistuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Caranfil having to interfere. Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Gorri in the 39th minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Ovidiu Caranfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Uriel Gorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gabriele Batistuta took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidiu Caranfil. Ovidiu Caranfil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Club Vertigo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Menchu FC were winning 0-2.

In the 51st minute Vasile Iurea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gabriele Batistuta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidiu Caranfil was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Ovidiu Caranfil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriele Batistuta's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Well-Well Benne in the 64th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Ovidiu Caranfil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriele Batistuta. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriele Batistuta in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidiu Caranfil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Well-Well Benne in the 71st minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Well-Well Benne in the 71st minute of the match. Club Vertigo's Well-Well Benne managed to work through Menchu FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Well-Well Benne dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Ovidiu Caranfil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Club Vertigo's zone, Arturo Roderigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidiu Caranfil came out of the goal and Arturo Roderigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ysmael Celerain in the 87th minute of play. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Iurea in the 89th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vasile Iurea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Salvidor was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Ovidiu Caranfil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriele Batistuta. The Club Vertigo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Menchu FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Menchu FC.
