Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Tabor started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes of play, River CBBA's Juan Funes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lev Yashin was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, River CBBA's Marcelo Barovero got control of the ball when Clovis Janvier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Tabor in the 16th minute of the match. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Tabor, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Farid Verrecchia. The throw-in from Nolan Roux in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by River CBBA's Hector Enrique. 28 minutes into the match, Farid Verrecchia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Barovero. River CBBA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Farid Verrecchia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Tabor in the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Le Stade Briochin UC's Renan Leveau got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Renan Leveau hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 47th match minute, Le Stade Briochin UC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christopher Palumbo to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Batista took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lev Yashin. Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Funes was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Argoitz Abeijon fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jaime Tabor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Barovero having to make a save. The supporters of Le Stade Briochin UC booed when River CBBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. River CBBA's Ponciano Abarca was substituted for Juan Funes. In the 63rd match minute, River CBBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Batista to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Hector Enrique hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. River CBBA made a substitution. Cipriano Abechuco replaced Varis Birgelis. After a rather tough play, River CBBA's Hector Enrique got a free kick in the 69th minute. The audience held their breath when Marc-Olivier Chopard in the 70th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Marcelo Barovero's left hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ponciano Abarca got free with Lev Yashin in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the game, Le Stade Briochin UC's Dimitri Nedellec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Barovero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. A collision led to Le Stade Briochin UC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Sacha Mignon hit a great ball. River CBBA's Ponciano Abarca got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lev Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ponciano Abarca, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. River CBBA's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Tabor in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the River CBBA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Le Stade Briochin UC.
