A collision led to MILLONARIOS FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Rafael Jauregui hit a great ball. Alvaro Errando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Angelo Prior tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Savion in the 9th minute of play forced MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Angelo Prior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Blomqvist in the 12th minute of play. When AC LeX Luthor's Alvaro Errando in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The MILLONARIOS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in MILLONARIOS FC's zone, Mario Yepes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Prior came out of the goal and Mario Yepes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Alvaro Errando kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Angelo Prior. That made the score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match AC LeX Luthor got a corner. MILLONARIOS FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pancho Branca ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Alvaro Errando heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With an all-out effort, AC LeX Luthor's Angelo Prior threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zeledon Savion, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by MILLONARIOS FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pancho Branca was slow to take the kick. During this time AC LeX Luthor's players had a chance to rest. In the 47th minute, Juan Corredor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Eyague was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christoffer Blomqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Porfiro in the 53rd minute of play forced MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Angelo Prior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC LeX Luthor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pancho Branca in the 54th minute. Mario Yepes hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MILLONARIOS FC! After a rather tough play, MILLONARIOS FC's Theo Hernández got a free kick in the 68th minute. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Peep Pronk replaced Zeledon Savion. AC LeX Luthor's Tolek Chazen was substituted for Pancho Branca. Rodriguinho Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Angelo Prior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peep Pronk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Errando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Prior was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. With a little luck, AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague got control of the ball when Rafael Jauregui tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MILLONARIOS FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
