The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Reynaldo Astrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selmi Uğurcan in the 4th minute of play. Reynaldo Astrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Prosinečki, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute of the match, Luke Van de kauter tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pepe Pancho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pepe Pancho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luke Van de kauter in the 8th minute. Challestone S.C.'s Harald Wester got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reynaldo Astrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Frichoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Luke Van de kauter came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luke Van de kauter couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute Eustaquio Dabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Pancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Gregorio Mel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo Astrada was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Luke Van de kauter took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pepe Pancho. Pepe Pancho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a little luck, Challestone S.C.'s Pepe Pancho got control of the ball when Fausto Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Luke Van de kauter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pepe Pancho. Challestone S.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luke Van de kauter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Luke Van de kauter made the kick off in the second half. Luke Van de kauter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pepe Pancho having to make a save. Pepe Pancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luke Van de kauter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Reynaldo Astrada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the game, Fausto Alcântara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Pepe Pancho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reynaldo Astrada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yan Yuan in the 64th minute. Pepe Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Pepe Pancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luke Van de kauter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Edwin Tenorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Isaias Gerazan was substituted for Isidro Gabrio. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Prudencio Ralondo was substituted for Luke Van de kauter. Edwin Tenorio hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Prudencio Ralondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Astrada made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Gregorio Mel sent off a good shot on target. Pepe Pancho came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Prudencio Ralondo. But to his dismay, Prudencio Ralondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Prudencio Ralondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pepe Pancho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eduardo Orlanda in the 91st minute. A nice corner shot did that Eduardo Orlanda got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pepe Pancho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Prudencio Ralondo got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pepe Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Ralondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Challestone S.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
