The throw-in from Edwin Tenorio in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Despidida AFC's Oliver Rizzo. Oliver Rizzo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pepe Pancho. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. 34 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pepe Pancho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Oliver Rizzo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despidida AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Selmi Uğurcan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Fernando Selatse 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toro Martínez in the 55th minute of play forced Challestone S.C.'s goalkeeper Pepe Pancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Selmi Uğurcan in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Selatse saved Despidida AFC from getting behind.
