The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the match, ☠QUINTERO☠'s goal looked a bit too open when Toro Martínez came free, but Tom Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Moncho Benítez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse got control of the ball when Carlos Manuel Facuse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernando Selatse made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Carlos Manuel Facuse sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute Carlos Manuel Facuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toro Martínez scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tom Wall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tom Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Lucila in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match Despidida AFC got a corner. ☠QUINTERO☠'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Lucila ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Despidida AFC's Emanuel Lucila to fire away a dangerous shot which Tom Wall despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moncho Benítez in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Hellström to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, ☠QUINTERO☠'s goal looked a bit too open when Toro Martínez came free, but Tom Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 minutes, Moncho Benítez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ☠QUINTERO☠ and the Despidida AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ☠QUINTERO☠'s Moncho Benítez got a free kick in the 55th minute. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Pastor Tino replaced Kajetan Gdowik. Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco was substituted for Toro Martínez. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Casimír Ambrosetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 92 in the game by Emiliano Velasco from a close distance when the talented Tom Wall managed to make a qualified save. ☠QUINTERO☠'s players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Hellström in the 94th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Despidida AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Despidida AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
