In the 8th minute, Gualterio Estebano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PLASNIKE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Vladimir Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Otávio Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Herauso, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th match minute, Pombal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Quirino to maneuver through the defense. Jefferson Souto charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jefferson Souto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualterio Estebano got free with Otávio Lago in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pombal FC's Otávio Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Diegotxe in the 26th minute of play. Ricardo Herauso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Otávio Lago made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, Pombal FC's goalkeeper Otávio Lago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualterio Estebano. With a little luck, Pombal FC's Otávio Lago got control of the ball when Gualterio Estebano tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Diegotxe in the 36th minute of play forced Pombal FC's goalkeeper Otávio Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, one of Pombal FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pombal FC. When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, PLASNIKE's Gualterio Estebano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Otávio Lago. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Ricardo Herauso took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Otávio Lago to make any attempt to save it. Otávio Lago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gualterio Estebano in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Márcio Peres made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Estebano in the 52nd minute of play forced Pombal FC's goalkeeper Otávio Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Anastasio Diegotxe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PLASNIKE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 62 minutes into the match, Ricardo Herauso notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Pombal FC's Otávio Lago. Otávio Lago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Otávio Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Gipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otávio Lago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anastasio Diegotxe went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Márcio Peres's late challenge caught a PLASNIKE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Márcio Peres helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Márcio Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otávio Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Diegotxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Gualterio Estebano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Otávio Lago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicanor Odilon took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Otávio Lago. Otávio Lago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Otávio Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Estebano, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute Anastasio Diegotxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
