An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Fanuco in the 18th minute of play forced Club Atletico Lanus's goalkeeper Astor Teofilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Olando in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Evelio Naike, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Las Palmas's Evelio Naike got control of the ball when Andres Gaizkine tried to sneak it across the goal line.
