Thanks to some nice moves Paulino Sayvion could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Aldo Mannie however easily saved by the left post. Cirilo Oriche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, The Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Smith Wigglesworth came free, but Gerardo Guerau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Old Boys's Gerardo Guerau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franz Grassme in the 16th minute of play. Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Kun Yang in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Placido Pero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Guerau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Franz Grassme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Monte Susanin kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. From a short distance, The Old Boys's Monte Susanin, in the 33rd minute, tried to place the ball behind Aldo Mannie, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. The audience was convinced that Monte Susanin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldo Mannie was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Paulino Sayvion in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aldo Mannie, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ripa FC made a substitution. Joel Tehas replaced Ricardo Bochini. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jose Ignazio to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ripa FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Braulio Emeterio hit a great ball. Florentino Dolfo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aldo Mannie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Dolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Old Boys's Gerardo Guerau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save The Old Boys from getting a goal against them. Aldo Mannie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Ignazio's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gu Chang Peng in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerardo Guerau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aldo Mannie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Kun Yang in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gu Chang Peng in the 81st minute of play forced The Old Boys's goalkeeper Gerardo Guerau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Gu Chang Peng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerardo Guerau. The Old Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gu Chang Peng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ripa FC's Alvaro Jakes was substituted for Placido Pero. 86 minutes in the game Steven Durin did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Isidro Gartzi. Gerardo Guerau had in the 96thth minute some difficulties stopping Gu Chang Peng's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience was convinced that Gu Chang Peng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerardo Guerau was relentless in the 99th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ripa FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
