After 9 played minutes Arrebimba o Malho SLB got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Sacadura. If Cristóvão Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristóvão Mattos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Marciano Eskuin made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Hottiger in the 14th minute of play forced Arrebimba o Malho SLB's goalkeeper Marciano Eskuin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Gilesindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavo Eiró, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Cristóvão Mattos sped through Arrebimba o Malho SLB's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marciano Eskuin. Marciano Eskuin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuele Hottiger, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Marciano Eskuin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristóvão Mattos went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 43 minutes, Pieter-Maarten Specht mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paranhos Ariranha FC and the Arrebimba o Malho SLB players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pieter-Maarten Specht kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aldo Dias to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Paranhos Ariranha FC's Cristóvão Mattos got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Cristóvão Mattos scored 6-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marciano Eskuin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 96 minutes into the match, Paranhos Ariranha FC's Cristóvão Mattos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marciano Eskuin narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
