In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Atahan Balon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 12 minutes Los Muchachos del 86's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Poncio Justo who took care of the corner kick. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfried Teunens in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Brion in the 22nd minute of play forced La Bichineta's goalkeeper Silvestre Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Godfried Teunens put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Atahan Balon. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saverio Brion in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Peli saved La Bichineta from getting behind. In the 37th minute of the match Los Muchachos del 86 got a corner. La Bichineta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristian Urtzi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Cristian Urtzi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli did a great save. 39 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's Godfried Teunens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atahan Balon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godfried Teunens to make the kick off. Atahan Balon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Castel, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Babbis Boukouvalas got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Albino Peruanton. Damian Honesto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
