After 5 played minutes Club Sports Pergamino got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Jakue. If Prospero Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute Zheng Jian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lia Vela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Perico in the 16th minute of play. Ramiro Oroitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Nestor Cortez made a huge save. Lobos de Carelia's Horacio Oliverios managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hernan Jakue in the 21 minute of the game. Lia Vela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavao Zadro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xu Ran Zhen hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Lia Vela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Perico in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Prospero Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lia Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Club Sports Pergamino booed when Lobos de Carelia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Venerando didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hernan Jakue fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Sports Pergamino's protests and gave Hernan Jakue a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes Club Sports Pergamino got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Jakue. After a defensive mix-up in Club Sports Pergamino's zone, Pavao Zadro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lia Vela came out of the goal and Pavao Zadro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prospero Perico struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Lia Vela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobos de Carelia. Zheng Jian took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Cortez. Nestor Cortez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Club Sports Pergamino's Lia Vela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavao Zadro in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Lobos de Carelia were awarded a corner. Cleto Confesor went to the cornerflag to take it. Cleto Confesor made a great header on Lobos de Carelia's corner, it was just that Club Sports Pergamino's Lia Vela managed to reach the ball for a save. Cleto Confesor's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Lia Vela - 2-1 was put on the score board in the 74th minute. Lobos de Carelia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cleto Confesor in the 80th minute. Hernan Jakue tried in the game's 80th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Lia Vela. An annoying self made goal, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Lobos de Carelia's zone, Antonin Leroyer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Cortez came out of the goal and Antonin Leroyer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Humberto Garci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Cortez. Lobos de Carelia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Garci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 89th minute Lobos de Carelia were awarded a corner. Cleto Confesor went to the cornerflag to take it. Lobos de Carelia's Cleto Confesor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lia Vela in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Humberto Garci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Garci in the 95th minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Nestor Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Sports Pergamino fully deserved thier win.
