Luis Nardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Veremundo in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Club Sports Pergamino were awarded a corner. Emilio Telesforo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Emilio Telesforo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Florida Gulf Coast's Luis Nardo did a great save. Sixto Bitxintxo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Veremundo in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Nardo saved Florida Gulf Coast from getting behind. Luis Nardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Veremundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Lukáš Katačić might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lia Vela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Club Sports Pergamino's Emilio Telesforo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luis Nardo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Florida Gulf Coast's Geronimo Bonadona got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goal looked a bit too open when Antonin Leroyer came free, but Luis Nardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 minutes, Lukáš Katačić made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Club Sports Pergamino's Lia Vela tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Veremundo made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Club Sports Pergamino's Luis Nardo threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Veremundo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Florida Gulf Coast's John James managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Albano Huly in the 76 minute of the game. Florida Gulf Coast's Luis Nardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Veremundo in the 79th minute of play. If Lukáš Katačić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Lukáš Katačić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lia Vela was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Lukáš Katačić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lia Vela having to make a save. Nestor Inko's late challenge caught a Club Sports Pergamino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Florida Gulf Coast fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Sports Pergamino had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
