Fred Nilsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lia Vela having to make a save. Lia Vela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Nilsson in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lia Vela saved Club Sports Pergamino from getting behind. After 18 minutes Club Sports Pergamino's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andro Reiman who took care of the corner kick. In the 21st minute, Fred Nilsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lia Vela was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 27 minutes, Fred Nilsson made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Club Sports Pergamino's Lia Vela tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fred Nilsson kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Jake Leonard had great luck who in the 34thth minute grab hold of the ball when Zheng Jian from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 36th minute of the match Club Sports Pergamino got a corner. WINNING ELEVEN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emilio Telesforo ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 42nd match minute, Club Sports Pergamino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Garci to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Nilsson in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lia Vela saved Club Sports Pergamino from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fred Nilsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of WINNING ELEVEN booed when Club Sports Pergamino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Izotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andro Reiman in the 55th minute of play forced Club Sports Pergamino's goalkeeper Lia Vela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lia Vela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Nilsson in the 56th minute of play. Jake Leonard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zheng Jian in the 62nd minute of play. In the 62nd minute Zheng Jian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Leonard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Nilsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lia Vela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fred Nilsson ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Club Sports Pergamino's Lia Vela got control of the ball when Fred Nilsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. WINNING ELEVEN's Jake Leonard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Oroitz in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Club Sports Pergamino's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Nilsson came free, but Lia Vela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Roman Sarricolea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jake Leonard was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Victoriano Izotz's late challenge caught a WINNING ELEVEN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victoriano Izotz helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Club Sports Pergamino got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Izotz. Andro Reiman struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Lia Vela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WINNING ELEVEN. WINNING ELEVEN's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
