Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thiago Almada made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Pedro Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Jefferson Paranaense's late challenge caught a CE LAJEADENSE RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jefferson Paranaense helped the player get up and apologised.
