Vicente Urre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evelio Larra during the 10th minute. Baldomiro Gamus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Vicente Urre made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Estebe in the 13th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Marcial Dantae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Dantae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Macerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Lano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartolo Estebe during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Palermo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alvaro Ermano in the 54th minute. The supporters of Palermo booed when La Candela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Macerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Bazkoare hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Bartolo Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Marcial Dantae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcial Dantae came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by La Candela FC's Bartolo Estebe. But to his dismay, Bartolo Estebe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Bartolo Estebe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Marcial Dantae made a huge save. Baldomiro Gamus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The La Candela FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La Candela FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
