After having played for 6 minutes, Beto Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ITAFUT 4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beto Aparecido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bradley Longstaffe was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Vinnie Jones took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Emerson Leão to make any attempt to save it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Augusto Novaes to strike the kick off in the second half. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The ITAFUT 4EVER supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ITAFUT 4EVER would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
