Alex Dijoux might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidiu Acatincăi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alex Dijoux ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute Alex Dijoux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Acatincăi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clark Kent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Rutkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ragnar Wingaard made in the 21st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Stig-Åke Nyman immediately put the ball in play. The audience was convinced that Alex Dijoux's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidiu Acatincăi was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. AFTER GYM FC's Ovidiu Acatincăi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Dijoux in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Rutkowski was the one to do the kick off. Robert Rutkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Clark Kent made a huge save. When Melquiades Chumo fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFTER GYM FC's protests and gave Melquiades Chumo a yellow card for diving instead. Zorros del Desierto's Zenaido Oviedo was substituted for Pape Lillo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Silm in the 68th minute of play forced AFTER GYM FC's goalkeeper Ovidiu Acatincăi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th play minute Robert Rutkowski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Clark Kent. 0-2. Clark Kent stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixto Lorenz's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Sixto Lorenz might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clark Kent. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sixto Lorenz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th match minute, AFTER GYM FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Bazkoare to maneuver through the defense. The AFTER GYM FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
