The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Enio Coelho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ovidiu Acatincăi made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Enio Coelho sent off a good shot on target. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Ter Stefanek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Lorenz in the 14th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Sixto Lorenz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ter Stefanek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 25th minute of the match CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS got a corner. AFTER GYM FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Prospero Jobo ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Julian Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig-Åke Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of AFTER GYM FC booed when CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Jobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 played minutes AFTER GYM FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Araújo. Ovidiu Acatincăi made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Enio Coelho sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, Sixto Lorenz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Bazkoare in the 54th minute of play forced CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's goalkeeper Ter Stefanek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Dolar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ter Stefanek having to interfere. Konrad Dylla kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ter Stefanek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Lorenz in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Enio Coelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidiu Acatincăi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Ramón Furtado was substituted for Enio Coelho. Ovidiu Acatincăi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón Furtado in the 73rd minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, Ronald Araújo threw the ball into play from the sideline. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Prospero Jobo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 96 minutes into the game, Ramón Furtado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ovidiu Acatincăi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AFTER GYM FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
