After 23 minutes Zorros del Desierto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dreas Jamieson who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Laércio Amorim almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent did a great save. 28 minutes into the match, America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Stefan Rasiak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Dijoux. America Futebol Clube SP's Laércio Amorim quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Darío Verón, made in the 30th minute of the game. The throw-in from Darío Verón in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by America Futebol Clube SP's Ahmet Kadri Ucatekin. The audience was convinced that Alex Dijoux's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Rasiak was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Cai Jian Chang kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. America Futebol Clube SP's Stefan Rasiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Dijoux in the 39th minute of play. Clark Kent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Monteiro in the 41st minute of the match. After 42 minutes Zorros del Desierto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dreas Jamieson who took care of the corner kick. In the 44th minute, Edward Okopny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

America Futebol Clube SP made a substitution. Jeronimo Rico replaced Iago Bala. America Futebol Clube SP's José Paulo Koehler was substituted for Dreas Jamieson. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex Dijoux was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Rico came free, but Clark Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darío Verón to maneuver through the defense. America Futebol Clube SP's Maksymilian Sobczak was substituted for Fabiano Monteiro. The supporters of America Futebol Clube SP booed when Zorros del Desierto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darío Verón didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the game, America Futebol Clube SP's Jeronimo Rico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clark Kent made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Clark Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Rico in the 67th minute of play. Arthur Laguna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clark Kent having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Rico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clark Kent. Zorros del Desierto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeronimo Rico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Stefan Rasiak came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Zorros del Desierto's Quique Cordoba. But to his dismay, Quique Cordoba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
