Marcos Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Bebeto Trigo made a huge save. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Afonso Pinhal got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-0. 14 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Futuros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Gerazan came free, but João Carlos Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SALIMEN booed when Futuros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beto de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Smith in the 26th minute of play forced SALIMEN's goalkeeper Bebeto Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bebeto Trigo made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Marcos Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, Faustino Gerazan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Carlos Andrade. Futuros FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustino Gerazan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Pimenta in the 40th minute of play forced Futuros FC's goalkeeper João Carlos Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Carlos Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Gerazan in the 43rd minute of play.

The wind increased when Krakaca Neto made the kick off in the second half. Bebeto Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Bebeto Trigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Krakaca Neto went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute Krakaca Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Krakaca Neto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SALIMEN's Bebeto Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to SALIMEN getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Futuros FC's João Carlos Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Pimenta in the 71st minute of play.
