Armindo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zvonimir Prestin in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 3rd minute, Bayezit Tecmil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute of the match Álvaro Rezende sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Rotariu skillfully saved the ball. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zvonimir Prestin in the 12th minute of play. After 15 played minutes, VB-Team's Gervásio Severiano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Rotariu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VB-Team reached it. 16 minutes into the game, Patrick Middendorf recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armindo Salgado. Patrick Middendorf showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. David Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. David Rotariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros in the 24th minute of play. Armindo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zvonimir Prestin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Joaquim de Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Rotariu was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. David Rotariu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim de Barros's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Gervásio Severiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VB-Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Lukas Goretzka kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Todor. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

52 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Caeiro came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Rotariu made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Gervásio Severiano sent off a good shot on target. A very good chance. VB-Team made a substitution. Qiu Sheng Bang replaced Sandro Leitão. PoWer SC 2K5's Leroy Kluttig was substituted for Zvonimir Prestin. VB-Team made a substitution. Traian Hăvârneanu replaced Joaquim de Barros. With a little luck, PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu got control of the ball when Traian Hăvârneanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, VB-Team's Gervásio Severiano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Rotariu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in PoWer SC 2K5's zone, Traian Hăvârneanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Rotariu came out of the goal and Traian Hăvârneanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Todor in the 79th minute of play. With a little luck, PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu got control of the ball when Traian Hăvârneanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Traian Hăvârneanu got free with David Rotariu in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gervásio Severiano struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. David Rotariu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VB-Team. David Rotariu was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Traian Hăvârneanu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Traian Hăvârneanu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched VB-Team eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
