After taking down the ball on FLA MQ BRASIL's corner Marcelo Ramalho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arthur Sergipano quite easily take care of the ball. If Armando Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, João Augusto do Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arthur Sergipano. Academia Santista CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Augusto do Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 25 minutes into the game, Luís Fabiano Arósio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Arthur Sergipano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fabiano Arósio in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arthur Sergipano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd match minute, FLA MQ BRASIL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Luís Fabiano Freire ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arthur Sergipano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

FLA MQ BRASIL's Luís Fabiano Arósio got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís Fabiano Freire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Arthur Sergipano made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Luís Fabiano Freire's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arthur Sergipano was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Gol in the 62nd minute of play forced FLA MQ BRASIL's goalkeeper Gabriel Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute of the match Academia Santista CIMZ got a corner. FLA MQ BRASIL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silvinho Peixoto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pedrinho Gol kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, FLA MQ BRASIL's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Gol came free, but Gabriel Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelinho Perez got free with Arthur Sergipano in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelinho Perez took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arthur Sergipano. Arthur Sergipano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Pedrinho Gol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Gabriel Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marcelinho Perez came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the FLA MQ BRASIL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelinho Perez couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the match, Academia Santista CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabiano Freire came free, but Arthur Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Academia Santista CIMZ's Arthur Sergipano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Santista CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Bernardo Rosado charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Academia Santista CIMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
