Schorsch Schmalzbauer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Cotera Meca made a huge save. In the 37th minute Vänge IF were awarded a corner. Lilo Stich went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Schorsch Schmalzbauer sped through Carnot's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cotera Meca. When Cuero Pedrero came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Carnot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cuero Pedrero couldn't finish the play. Villegas Vozmediano hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Vänge IF's Ciriaco Hernando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quiñónez Cocolina in the 47th minute of play.

Vänge IF's Ramiro James was substituted for Mauro Otsoa. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiro James was the one to do the kick off. Gregorio Luga's late challenge caught a Vänge IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregorio Luga helped the player get up and apologised. Gregorio Luga hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The Vänge IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. When Ramiro James came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Vänge IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro James couldn't finish the play. Vänge IF's Ramiro James got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciriaco Hernando made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Edwin Biembengén sent off a good shot on target. If Cuero Pedrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Östen Olsson kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Ciriaco Hernando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quiñónez Cocolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Carnot's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro James came free, but Cotera Meca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vänge IF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
