BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Bentong Molinos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wágner Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xande Gay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Luiz Paulo Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xande Gay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wágner Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elder Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Wágner Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil de Salles in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wágner Ribeiro saved Misericordia EC from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bob Dinamite in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xande Gay saved BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bob Dinamite in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xande Gay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Paulo Ferraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Xande Gay made a huge save. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Misericordia EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tiago Gabriel Velloso took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil de Salles in the 43rd minute of play forced Misericordia EC's goalkeeper Wágner Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elder Hermes to make the kick off. One of BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Misericordia EC:s goal. Bob Dinamite shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Misericordia EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tiago Gabriel Velloso was slow to take the kick. During this time BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's players had a chance to rest. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's Tiago Gabriel Velloso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wágner Ribeiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Misericordia EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bob Dinamite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Misericordia EC.
