The supporters of KEZ Toppfotball booed when Carnot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vellito Canal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Lambarri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olav Nydal in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olav Nydal in the 10th minute of play forced Carnot's goalkeeper Juan Lambarri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olav Nydal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Angvik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lavalle Casadevante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danny Figueruela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Sverre Opstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 played minutes Carnot got a freekick which was hit by Danny Figueruela. If Sebastian Halland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Angvik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Figueruela in the 41st minute of play. Carnot's Juan Lambarri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frode Todnem in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olav Nydal was the one to do the kick off. Enrique Fariñada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 52nd minute, Lavalle Casadevante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Angvik was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 56th minute, KEZ Toppfotball's Olav Nydal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juan Lambarri. Juan Lambarri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 61st minute Olav Nydal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Lambarri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 played minutes Carnot got a freekick which was hit by Danny Figueruela. After 68 minutes, Frode Todnem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KEZ Toppfotball and the Carnot players grew even worse after the yellow card. KEZ Toppfotball's Sebastian Angvik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Fariñada in the 72nd minute of play. Hector Aya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Sebastian Angvik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Fariñada's late challenge caught a KEZ Toppfotball's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Fariñada helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Carnot got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Fariñada. Francisco Berenguer kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Carnot's goal looked a bit too open when Olav Nydal came free, but Juan Lambarri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Angvik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Figueruela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Lambarri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olav Nydal's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Ask Vågenes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carnot walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
