The crowd rose to their feet as Angelo Osasun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juan Lambarri. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. Anastasio Serafo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Lambarri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Osasun in the 31st minute of play. After 34 played minutes Carnot got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Berenguer. A collision led to Carnot getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Enrique Fariñada hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The supporters of Carnot booed when DAMIAN TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Bidun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carnot's Lavalle Casadevante managed to work through DAMIAN TEAM's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Lavalle Casadevante dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Anastasio Serafo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Carnot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zoil Villajane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leo Astudillo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, DAMIAN TEAM's goalkeeper Ermegildo Bixintxo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zoil Villajane. When Hernan Frances fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DAMIAN TEAM's protests and gave Hernan Frances a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, DAMIAN TEAM's Hernan Frances got a free kick in the 96th minute.
