Maurinho Jacinto charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurinho Jacinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, Mala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Carnot's zone, Washington Berger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Lambarri came out of the goal and Washington Berger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrique Fariñada's late challenge caught a Mala FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Fariñada helped the player get up and apologised. Juan Lambarri made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Samuel Dante sent off a good shot on target. Lavalle Casadevante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Vladimir Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carnot's Juan Lambarri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Tavares in the 24th minute of play. If Francisco Berenguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Lambarri having to interfere. Vladimir Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lavalle Casadevante, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 37 played minutes Mala FC got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Jacinto. In the 43rd minute, Enrique Fariñada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the game, Carnot's Ramos Holgado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimir Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Mala FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carnot were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilson Tavares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Mala FC defense, Lavalle Casadevante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimir Neves. The Mala FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimir Neves should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, Maurinho Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramos Holgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Samuel Dante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Juan Lambarri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vladimir Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramos Holgado in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Washington Berger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Carnot booed when Mala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Loarte took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vladimir Neves. Mala FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramos Holgado in the 85th minute of play forced Mala FC's goalkeeper Vladimir Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mala FC's Vladimir Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramos Holgado in the 91st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Washington Berger during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Washington Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. With 95 minutes on the clock, Inácio Sampaio commited a dangerous tackle.
