Marios Kareklidis's late challenge caught a U21 Angola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marios Kareklidis helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Green Hell F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Marios Kareklidis. U21 Angola's attentive Fábio Montoia managed to snatch the ball when Charis Pomonis made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. Custódio Teive showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fragiskos Kalpadakis in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th minute Marios Kareklidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Custódio Teive saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After a rather tough play, U21 Angola's Edmundo Dos Santos got a free kick in the 51st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nito Apalanga during the 53rd minute. Custódio Teive made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marios Kareklidis in the 63rd minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, U21 Angola's Hernani Moco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimitris Keratzoglou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Dimitris Keratzoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Montoia in the 77th minute of play.
