Jurjen van der Gun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Thomas Albaret showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 14 minute of play. Thomas Albaret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurjen van der Gun having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SILMONT's zone, Roger Popken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Di Xing Ying came out of the goal and Roger Popken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roger Popken kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Adriano Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Albaret got free with Jurjen van der Gun in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jurjen van der Gun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Bordat in the 25th minute of play. Jurjen van der Gun made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Thomas Albaret sent off a good shot on target. Jurjen van der Gun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Albaret, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Seagulls's Jurjen van der Gun got control of the ball when Adriano Guimarães tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Javier Bordat recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jurjen van der Gun. Javier Bordat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. A collision led to SILMONT getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Mai Zhen hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henny Lyesen was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Henk van Persie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52nd minute, Javier Bordat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jurjen van der Gun was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Jurjen van der Gun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Bordat in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Guimarães in the 58th minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Jurjen van der Gun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Roger Popken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute Fabian Caplain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurjen van der Gun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jurjen van der Gun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Bordat in the 62nd minute of play. Seagulls's Jurjen van der Gun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Albaret in the 66th minute of play. Jurjen van der Gun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano Guimarães went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. SILMONT made a substitution. Nolan Pétiot replaced Thomas Albaret. 75 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Bordat came free, but Jurjen van der Gun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Javier Bordat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SILMONT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Nolan Pétiot took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jurjen van der Gun. Jurjen van der Gun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Adriano Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SILMONT walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
