Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Golden Lions FC's Aron Billström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, Golden Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Samuelsson to maneuver through the defense. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Oséias Severo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Wiktor Lingren but with some difficulty. After having played for 12 minutes, Aron Billström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aron Billström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Cabral in the 14th minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Wiktor Lingren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wiktor Lingren was a little too slow when Oséias Severo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Natã Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Túlio Geniatulin made a precise shot to the right of Wiktor Lingren. Golden Lions FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Froilan Dolcet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Billström in the 32nd minute of play. Wiktor Lingren was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Joaquim Félix capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joaquim Félix really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Froilan Dolcet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th match minute, Ibirama Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Santana to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute of the match Svante Sigman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Froilan Dolcet skillfully saved the ball. Joaquim Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Wiktor Lingren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Túlio Geniatulin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wiktor Lingren came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ibirama Futebol Clube's Agostinho Cabral. But to his dismay, Agostinho Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Oséias Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Túlio Geniatulin in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wiktor Lingren saved Golden Lions FC from getting behind. If Teodoro Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd match minute, Ibirama Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Geniatulin to maneuver through the defense. Svante Sigman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Froilan Dolcet. Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 64 minutes, Svante Sigman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Lions FC and the Ibirama Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Svante Sigman kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The Ibirama Futebol Clube fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Ibirama Futebol Clube's Túlio Geniatulin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wiktor Lingren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Túlio Geniatulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ibirama Futebol Clube's zone, Bengt-Åke Dahlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Dolcet came out of the goal and Bengt-Åke Dahlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wiktor Lingren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Félix in the 94th minute of play. Aron Billström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Froilan Dolcet made a huge save.
