Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zorros del Desierto's attentive Christiano Anaya managed to snatch the ball when Luís Fabiano de Brito made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 24th minute Concetto Mare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Kostka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zorros del Desierto's Hugo Araya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Wawak in the 29th minute of play. Arkadiusz Kostka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Mare in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Concetto Mare cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Arkadiusz Kostka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute, Javier Rufo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Concetto Mare's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arkadiusz Kostka was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After 65 played minutes FC MARKUS got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano de Brito. Arkadiusz Kostka made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Concetto Mare sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Fulvio Pantani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The FC MARKUS fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when FC MARKUS's Horea Frumușanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 87 minutes into the match, FC MARKUS's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Mare came free, but Arkadiusz Kostka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arkadiusz Kostka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
